  • This book fails to titillate. I read it for my book club's Romance Novel Grab Bag in June. A major plot point involves Jana, the leading lady, basically kidnapping the children of the leading man, Omar. This is passed off as "impulsiveness." I would've said craziness, creepiness and/or stupidity, but whatever. The main disappointment, however, is that there is practically no buildup to the love/sexual relationship between Jana and Omar, which is kinda the whole point of a romance novel, right? R [...]
