  • Excess is an eclectic collection of short stories edited by Jai Arjun Singh(aka Jabberwock from bloggerverse) and Nisha Susan. To be frank, I bought this book solely for the first story - Feast by Manjula Padmanabhan. The rest of the stories are mostly dark, with an occasional hint of sunshine. I'd also confess that Mridula Koshy's Same Day was totally lost on me and having read some of Kalpana Swaminathan's works, I was totally surprised by Kalpish Ratna's Strawberries are white.
