  • I loved this one - and I'm a guy. Just quirky enough and silly enough, and really, really funny if a little unbelievable in places so what, if you're laughing? It pushed all the right buttons for me even if it was't perfect. A zany, delightful escape from the humdrum. Well done Ms Dearen!

  • I haven't read the other books in this series (with the exception of the intro to the series "The Best Is Yet to Come: A Romantic Comedy (The Best Girls Book 0)") - I was initially concerned that it might be an issue jumping into book four over book one first but the read came to me by recommendation and I had the time so I wanted to get into it.While there were some references to the other books (and likely some inside commentary that I missed from not reading them first) this is a very good st [...]

  • 3.5 This is a comedy of errors and misunderstandings between two people perfect for each other. Grace is a spunky, in control, first grade teacher who freaks out when Brad, the mature, nice guy, doctor she's been dating accidentally says he loves her. For Grace, no relationship goes into serious mode without her say-so. And the mishaps, heartbreak, and comedy begin. Brad's friends and Grace's family get involved, all trying to "help," and it's one step forward and two steps back. If Grace and Br [...]

  • Best Foot Forward is the fourth book in the Best Girls Series by Tamie Dearen and goes back in time a little to share the story of Grace and Brad.Grace never lets boys too close, because she has to protect her heart. So when Brad lets the "l word" slip, she's gone. But then she realizes she really was in love with him all along. True to Best Girl fashion (even though Grace is a Marshall, the girls have all adopted Best Dating Rules), Grace and Brad must fight through a comedy of miscommunication [...]

  • I was so excited to see Tamie Dearen had a new Best series book out, and had to start on it right away! I have been hoping for Grace's story, and I was not disappointed! She is a character I just love, her bossiness and need for control while being a small thing relate to me a lot ;) I loved getting to visit old characters that are near and dear to me!My sister kept trying to talk to me while I was reading and I kept having to tear myself away, all while not wanting to!The story technically take [...]

  • This is a sweet romance with some humor and Grace, a commitophobe, tries unsuccessfully to deal with her scary feelings for Brad. Add in her 3 sisters, brother, soon-to-be sister-in-law, and Brad's brother Ben - all determined to keep Brad and Grace a couple, and there are lots of opportunities for schemes and backfires. Kara, who wants to get her claws into Brad, adds to the mess. Grace is a bit immature, but Brad rises to the occasion. This was quick, easy read - perfect for the beach. It is a [...]

  • Grace a first grade teacher and Brad Gates a doctor, find having a relationship difficult.I have enjoyed every book in this series, but not as much as this one. I don’t think I can name one other series of books that has as much wit and comedy within its pages. The characters like playing jokes upon on another. Of course all in good taste and because they like each other. It made for funny scenes.I felt myself speeding through much of the book because it was so good. The writing is easy to read [...]

  • Fun New Story in The Best Girls SeriesThis was a fun addition to The Best Girls Series. I truly enjoyed getting to know some of the less known characters from the previous books. This story is set in between the original 2nd and 3rd book, providing unique glances into those story lines as well. As one of my favorites of the whole series, I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a light, easy, and heart-warming read.

  • I think everyone can relate to Grace has struggles through the battle between her head and heart. Best Foot Forward shows the inner world of a woman in a fun, comical, and relate-able way. A darling read!

  • This was one of the dumbest books I've ever read. I know romance novels are supposed to have that push-and-pull factor but this was ludicrous. Grace is one of the most idiotic characters I've had the displeasure of meeting in a long, long time. Are we really supposed to believe that she's an adult? This book read like it was written by a teenager for teenagers. I didn't finish it.

  • Ridiculous book. So much dumb miscommunication and lying. I was annoyed through most of the book, but I kept with it for some reasond really didn't get any reward at the end. My only positive was that is was clean and not smutty.

  • Almost didn't finish this one.o many crazy stupid situations. The first book was so cute and funny. This one just annoyed me.

  • Too many liesSorry a not a book I'd recommend. I read the first book and I enjoyed it mostly. The second book was pretty good. This book I had accidentally purchased while looking for book #2. I decided to keep it and read it since the other books had been enjoyable. Wow! I couldn’t keep up with the crazy tangents and lies. It was beyond ridiculous. The book was supposed to be encouraging good moral behavior and yet every page had adults finding more lies to tell. And all the while the charact [...]

  • Ok I am almost finished this book, but I just had to comment. I don't usually but this time I had too. I read the first book in this series and I enjoyed it. Easy, light reading, so I decided to try this one. I must say I am quite surprised at all the high reviews this book is getting. Although I am enjoying it but at the same time I feel its a bit too much. I just feel that who would actually behave/react like that?? A bit too silly ( not sure if that's the right word but it will do) for me. I [...]

  • Loved it!I kept wondering if Grace was going to come to her senses or mot. I'm so glad I read this series, which for me started with a free book from Bookbub. I appreciate a clean story that doesn't include cursing or mature content.

  • ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE SERIES!!!I read all the books in this series and I have never laughed or cried so much reading books. Hey what I can I say? I am sensitive. I am a hopeless romantic. I wear my heart only sleeves. I absolutely believe in true love or better yet soul mates. Thank you so much Tamie Dearen. All of the books were fantastically written. And I thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed all of them they are a definite must read.

  • What a fun read!I could totally believe all the mishaps that kept Grace and Brad apart, given the sheer number of (all very likable) sisters, brothers, and friends doing their best to "help" the relationship along. I haven't read the earlier books, and that didn't interfere with my enjoyment at all, but I think it would be even more enjoyable to read if I already knew all these characters well. Recommended! Now I'm off to get Book #1 to see how it all began.

  • This one gets 4 stars more because I liked the first books so much. I felt like this one was out of order and would recommend reading it as book #3. The storyline wasn't as strong as in the previous books and I found the main character to be a tad annoying with her indecisiveness. I still really enjoy this author and the other books in the series, but this one was lacking.

  • A fairly enjoyable read but it felt a bit laboured at times. Brad & Grace are just getting serious in their relationship when things go very wrong. One mishap after another keeps them apart despite tgeir families best efforts. Will things work out in the end?

  • MehGrace drove me crazy as a character. I honestly was shocked to see so many other books in the series as I had to force myself to finish this one. Yikes.

  • a cute book. while it is book 4 in a series, it can be read as a standalone and no cliffhanger. I enjoyed the crazy antics and tangled web. it was a quick day read.

  • DNF. I got to page 10 and that was enough for me. This book was free, I liked the premise but it just wasn't for me.

  • NopeNot a comedy. Who would put up with this kind of relationship. Worth reading, just don't expect it to be funny.
