This was a sweet and sexy romance. It filled me with nostalgia for an exciting era in music (the Sixties), and gave me the fangirl experience of falling for a rock star adored by zillions. I enjoyed every minute of Jay and Katie's love story. I agonized over the separations they had to endure because of Jay's touring, yet it made their reunions that much sweeter. I enjoyed every moment of this novel, from the triumphs and travails of the smart and sassy heroine, Katie, and her rock star, Jay, to the subtle and spot on details of life in London and Malibu, to the carefully nuanced portraits of her secondary characters. hat a fun story!!!! Crimson & Clover is not your usual romance book-It's a long strange trip back in time! I will admit to remembering most of the 70's, I do not remember the 60's (not for the reason you are thinking!-I was born in the late 60's) This book gave me such a vivid look into the world of "flower power" "rock n roll" and the "summer of love" That I felt like I was there! This novel stands in a genre of its own. Clearly the author has first hand knowledge of the times and a love for the music that makes Crimson and Clover so special. I ate it up in one sitting and left wanting more yet fully satisfied at the same time.

Not a joy to read, not very interesting, characters very shallow and unlikable.A month after reading I can't even remember exactly why I was left with a memory of distaste and slime.

I really enjoyed this story. It was refreshing to read a rock and roll romance set in the '60's rather than current day. I was just a kid back then, but I think the author did a pretty good job of capturing the feel of the times. Back then people were still somewhat idealistic and hopeful instead of being so jaded. Rock and roll was new and fresh. There was no "cult of celebrity". Everyone was experimenting with drugs and easy sex, and although some succumbed to that lifestyle, for plenty of peo [...]

I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed this book. As this generation likes to say… “Back in the day…” This tale was very Déjà vu for me.
