I got to read an early copy of this wonderful book by Pintip Dunn and I loved it so much! This fast-paced thriller will pull at your heart and keep you turning the pages well after your bedtime. Pintip really knows how to write characters that stick with you way after you close the book.

First of all, I don't typically read thrillers. I'm a fan of Pintip's other books and was lucky enough to get an advance copy of this book, so I gave it a shot. Wow, guys. I absolutely loved The Darkest Lie. It’s about Cecilia whose mother has committed suicide after allegedly having an affair with a student. This book is an exciting read with great characters. It also deals with a lot of very tough issues (I’m not going to be very specific to avoid spoilers). I felt quite sorry for her, as what she was going through couldn't have been easy.This was an alright read, but there were one or two times where I started to lose interest slightly, and the mystery didn't suck me in as I would have liked. The Darkest Lie was a book I was really looking forward to reading, and let me tell you, this is one heck of a whodunit. Confession: I figured out who it was waaaaaayyyyy early, but I didn't make the connections that put it all together, so yay for Pintip Dunn for tripping me up on that! Oh my gosh, you guys, so good. Go read this one. I swear, Pintip does it again. I love this writer!!!

I'm still rolling my eyes at that cliché epilogue. Seriously, i'm tired of YA books filled with unrealistic romantic gestures.

This was a decent YA thriller. I'm pretty picky about these though so don't take my rating as a reason not to read it. I usually read adult thrillers, which in general are more compelling to me than YA ones.
