I loved the beginning of this story. Michaela isn't to fond of her life especially this day. She starts the day off by throwing a choice finger to a jerk who has yelled at her. Okay so maybe she wasn't looking where she was going or using her signal lights on her bicycle with attached delivery trolley that had gone out weeks prior. It's indeed rare for me to like a romance that does not give me details - as exclusive as possible - for the love scenes. I do not like the 'boss' or the nature of the organisation Knights of Ambra. Although it is a secret group, they are not a special ops group working for the Government in some way. The function is to retrieve lost or stolen artifacts to be held for the nation. It does not come across as a pleasant group doing a worthwhile job. However, this was an enjoyable read although the characters were difficult to like at first. This promises to be a good series, and the story line was interesting.

DNF - enjoyed intro but became increasingly bored with the characters and saw little development. The main female character became annoying and the conflicts/lies irritating. Couldn't be bothered to finish the last bit the story

I found this book okay. It was not my favorite though. There were a couple of times when I thought about quitting it.

Good book! Really enjoyed this book. Lots of twists and turns. The character development was really good. I like the author’s style of writing.

I got annoyed every time someone kept mentioning her colossal lisp. And the main guy wasn't much of a hero figure with the lying and repeated mentioning of his lowly status as a knight. I severely disliked the protagonists and therefore could have cared less what happened to them.

The Knight of Ambra by Lyn Brittan is an action packed thriller. This is the first book I had read by this author, so I was unfamiliar with the organization in which Brant works. Michaela and Brant meet quite by action, a case of her being at the wrong place at the wrong time. It nearly gets her killed if Brant had not shown up. What a fun read. Michaela is trying to get by but she never seems to get her head above water but that is all about to change. She needs to go collect something for work at one of her pickup's but things don't go so well. She meets Brant who is trying to find a sword for his boss but he has lost it and the people that have it. He needs her help as he has to get the sword and well try keep her alive. Great descriptive of this romantic action adventureLoved Lyn Brittan's romantic action adventure in the Knights of Ambra as the description were very real I could just picture the scenes that she described. This book is a fast paced, exciting, romantic adventure that you will find very hard to put down.The characters were likeable, Brant and Michaela have a smooth interaction and great banter from the start, even if sometimes you wanted to give Michaela a bit of a shake to stop her incessant crying!
