Message on the Wind

This is truly a must read! It's not like other love stories where the books ends with ". . . and they lived happily ever after" or ends with the couple getting together. This feels like something real - like something that could happen or does happen. The characters feel real, all thanks to this amazing writer. You laugh with them, cry with them, root for them. This story is so well put together that I could not put it down. I needed to know what happens after every twist and turn in the novel.

This is not the type of fiction I usually read. I generally stick to sci-fi, historical and some fantasy, however I've been pushing myself to broaden my tastes. More than just a romanceGenerally I'm not a strict romance reader, but this one pleasantly surprised me. The author wrote a novel of love in adversity during a period of American history when there was much prejudice against mixed marriages.
