It really takes a great, talented, and brilliant writer to make me feel & wish I was one of the characters in his/her books. This was good and like the 2 previous books in the series, they are not for the faint-hearted. Even though these books are about the 'good' vampires I would never want to meet them in a dark alley. At one point one of the vampires compels a human to hack his limbs off one by one until he dies. Yup, pretty brutal. But that's what I love about this author, she doesn't shy away from anything. As passionate as I was for the first two books in this series, Blood Possession was an huge disappointment. After reading 78 pages, I started wondering if I was going to be able to finish this book and after finally reaching 322 pages, I had had enough.
