  • One hot story that will have you grinning from ear to ear in the end! I totally loved it. Though it was a short story, the mythology of the gods and the twists in the story made it one fun read. Sexually it was fulfilling for anyone’s taste whether it be for the plain ole Male/Female, Male/Male, or a little ménage (M-F-M) erotica because let me tell you the scenes were Sizzling HOT!The story wrapped around the main characters Mercury and Dillon. Mercury being a Messenger God for the other god [...]

  • 3 ½ stars. Several parts were cute and fun. It’s light entertainment. This is a contemporary romance using Roman and Norse gods. I’m hesitant to read twists on fairy tales and was reluctant to read this, but I was pleasantly surprised. About a fourth of the way into it I’m thinking “I’m liking this. It’s entertaining.” The last half was more into relationship problems and was less entertaining. On balance it’s above average. There is a lot of erotic explicit sex. Half is male-mal [...]

  • Fun book. I don't read many novels on the erotica level, so I'm kindof a newb here. There were three main stories, the primary was Mercury and Dillon, secondary was Vesta and Thor AND Loki then tertiary was Peleus and Thetis. I think I would have preferred more on Merc and Dillon and less on the other two stories, but it did provide for a great deal more sex, and for erotica, that is key right? I also didn't much care for Vesta, but I like Peleus, but there wasn't as much of him. As for Merc I w [...]

  • I found Daisy Harris' latest endeavor endearing, heartbreaking, and funny.Mercury is a character with some serious issues and if he can work through them, he'll discover a helluva love in Dillon. As usual, Harris' secondary plot is just as sexy and wonderful as the main plot, but doesn't leave you hanging.

  • Mercury Rising was a complete surprise to me. I completely expected to like it; I just didn’t expect it to be as thought provoking as it was. The Mercury in the title is Mercury the Roman God, son of Jupiter. Mercury is the main organizer of DICK (Deities International Conference and Kibitz), which is an event where all the major deities, from each religion, gather. This time it’s on a cruise ship and Jupiter has decided to make this twice as hard on poor Mercury, by bringing along his futur [...]

  • Mercury Rising was my first, mainly gay romance. I have read a few where there was gay aspects for some of the secondary characters but Mercury Rising’s two main characters were gay. The sideline characters did involve some sandwich loving with a female.Mercury is a god, and he is here on Earth to orchestrate a convention of sorts with not only other gods and goddesses but human leaders as well. His job is to basically make sure everything runs smoothly and everyone is happy. He is hiding. Hid [...]

  • If Vicki Lewis Thompson and Katie MacAlister had a smutty younger sister with a penchant for m/m pairings, the result would be the hilarious Daisy Harris. This is nominally paranormal in the same way the above authors as well as Erin McCarthy and Janice Davidson handle paranormal/fantasy elements, which is to say that the paranormal elements serve mainly to enhance the comedic impact, making it perfect for the fantasy adverse like myself. For those who like their fantasy/paranormal heavy on the [...]

  • I enjoyed reading this this funny sex filled novella. The cast of characters was fantastic! It was complete with several storylines and multiple scorching hot sexual couplings. Mercury the Messenger is gay, is slightly embarrassed by this and wants no one to find out. He is on a cruise ship with the entire Pantheon and numerous other world leaders for DICK, Deities International Conference and Kibitz. He is also avoiding his fiancée Vesta the Goddess of Virginity. Vesta is trying to lose her vi [...]

  • This is story is more than hot but the storyline is unique! It happens to be about Gods and Humans getting to know more about each other and buliding the relationships between the two.Mercury is a god who happens to meet a sexy ass human named Dillon while on assignment. Little does he know that Dillon will end up turning out to be his assistant at a conference that is happening on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean. Dillon ends up teaching Mercury about feelings and coming out into the op [...]

  • IMO the MCs are boring, Loki and Vesta and her need to find herself a place in a new pantheon are more interesting. The story of sea goddess and vampire isn't bad, it just doesn't fit in. (view spoiler)[Is Jupiter really only 60 weeks old, because 50 earth years eqal one heavenly week? Is Vishnu truely female? Is Scandinavia not part of Europe anymore? Questions upon questions (hide spoiler)]

  • I really enjoyed this book. I loved reading Mercury's story, seeing the evolution of the characters. I keep hoping she'll write more in this series!
